AP212 Whole of House Replacement Water Filters

Replacement filters for 3M Aqua Pure AP212 whole of house systems.

3M AP212 systems use 1 x 5 micron sediment in the first stage and 2 x FS-117/AP117 carbon filters in the second stage.

This kit includes an additional bonus 5 micron sediment filter, enabling change out of front-line sediment filters on a regular basis for peak performance. This in turn allows the second stage carbon filters to remain clean to effectively remove chlorine, taste and odour contaminants from the water.

Package includes

2 x 1025PS5 sediment filters – fits AP11S Stage 1 housing

2 x 3M FS117-1 carbon filters – fits AP12 Stage 2 housing

Note: The 3M Aqua Pure AP212 second stage [housing designated AP12] takes 2 carbon filters stacked atop each other – only 3M AP117-1 or FS117-1 filters will work when stacked due to their radial flow design – standard DOE [Double Open Ended] carbon filters will not work – the water will simply bypass straight through the filter centre core without any contact with carbon.

Also note that Standard 20″ filters are 508mm and are too long for the AP12 housing which requires 496mm [19 1/2″] filter lengths.
