The AP10X3POH 1025PS1 GTS1-10 P100C is a portable Triple stage water filter and water softener system for hard water or water supplies high in Calcium.
Softens water and stops Calcium scale built up & staining problems.
Ideal to connect in line before any equipment to protect from scale build up and costly servicing or as a portable filter for caravans.
Filtration Stages
Stage 1: Sediment Filtration
First stage 1025PS1 filter is a high flow 1 Micron Sediment Filter. It will remove particulate contaminants including sediment, mud, sand, silt, rust, algae, and so on.
Stage 2: Chemical, Bad Taste/Odour and Cyst Filtration
The Second stage is a GTS1-10 filter is an American-made 1 Micron Silver Impregnated Bacteriostatic Carbon Filter.
It reduces a wide range of contaminants including:
- Bad taste/odour
- Giardia, Cyclospora and Cryptosporidium Cysts
- Chlorine and Chloramines
- Pesticides, Herbicides, Insecticides
- Glyphosphate
- Dirt, Rust, Algae & Sediment
Makes great tasting soft water for drinking & ice.
Being silver impregnated, this filter will kill or incapacitate bacteria. This means bacterial contamination of the carbon is less likely. This is very important if using tank or bore water.
Stage 3: Hardness Reduction
Third stage 1025P100C filter is a Ion exchange cartridge that can be flushed over & over up to 2 years. Contains food grade cation resin to soften water by physical chemical process know as Ion Exchange.
Ion Exchange water softener cartridges reduce Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese & Iron, making your hard water soft.
The minerals are reduced by clinging to the resin. By flushing with salt the minerals are stripped from the resin and flushed away. Provides 400 to 800 Litres of soft water before regeneration of filter, depending on the degree of hardness in water.
Regeneration of the resin is a simple process done with common table salt. Flushing instructions included.
For the highest contaminate reduction flow rate of 2 to 3 Litres Per Minute, but can be used on higher flow rates for other applications.
After a certain amount of time (depending on usage and storage), the resin will no longer be able to regenerate fully. At this point, it can be replaced with either a new pre-filled cartridge or re-filled with a fresh bag of resin. See below for part numbers.
Triple 10″ heavy duty housings on a White Steel mounting bracket. 3/4 Bsp female threads on inlet and outlet ports. (3/4 bsp is 25mm across) Sump spanner included.
