Replacement core sediment filter conversion kit

Refillable carbon cartridge top centre core sediment filter conversion kit for 10" & 20" x 4.5" empty cartridges to enable the fixed top sediment filter to be replaced as the fixed original filters will clog up and restrict the water flow.

Kit includes instructions.

1 x 5" x 2.5"  20micron sediment filter 32mm centre hole.

1 x 1" to 3/4" bsp threaded black nipple.

1 x Reusable end plug for core filter.

Once you have converted your filter over you can simply purchase just the 5" x 2.5"  32mm centre hole replacement filters as needed.

If you have an early model filter where the centre core filter is fixed in place you will need to remove this and use a 25mm hole saw to enlarge the hole in the top of the cartridge to allow the black threaded nipple to be screwed in place. 

We also have the newer model cartridges with the threaded fitting already in place if you find this easier.
