T2045TDSR POH Twin System

Rinse Spot Free System
Total Dissolved Solids Removal system with Mixed-Bed Resin

(20” x 4.5” Cartridges & AIC-K with POH Fittings)

The In-Line ‘AIC-K’ carbon filter is used for the Spot-Free system to help remove Sediment, Chlorine, ETC which will help with the longevity of the Mixed-Bed Resin.

Flushing In-Line Filter: Flush the new AIC-K carbon filter using the hose given before using the new system, this will remove any carbon fines and air pockets inside the filter. Flush for approx. 5L or until water is clear.

Flushing Resin Cartridges: Connect your water supply hose from the AIC-K filter to the TDS systems inlet Click-On fitting and flush the new resin to remove and resin fines until water is clear. Flushing is only required when filters are being replaced/refilled. Once water is clear the system is ready to use.

Extending Resin Life-Span: Use unfiltered water on the initial wet down and washing of dirty areas. Then switch over to the TDS free water for your final rinse.

When using a hose just a quick rinse running the TDS free water over entire the job will extend the life of the Demineralizing Resin.

To run the TDS free water over the average car should only take less than 2 minutes.

If using a pressure cleaner as the final spot free rinse, we recommend using a small flow rate pressure cleaner to conserve water usage and extend the resin life.

Replace In-Line Filter every 12 months or approximately 6000 litres whichever comes first.

Replacing Filters:

  • If you are refilling the cartridges with resin simply remove the cartridges from the housing sumps and unscrew the top cap. Dump out old resin, rinse the cartridge and sediment pads at each end. Refill then screw the cap back in place.
  • White seals must be on top of the green cap filter cartridges.
  • Ensure the flat rubber washer seal is still on top of the filter cartridge after cleaning.
  • Refit the cartridges in the system. Only hand tighten the housing sumps, do not over tighten the housing sumps with the housing spanner.
  • To replace In-Line Filter, unscrew the brass POH fittings and re-apply thread tape to the fittings and screw into new filter.
  • Flush cartridges until water is clear.
