20″ x 4.5″ Big Black Twin Stage High Flow Water Filter Housing

Description

Twin Large 20″ System filter housing 1″ Bsp inlet & outlets (3/4″ with bush). Suits 20″ x 4.5″ filters Ideal for Whole of house, Pumps, Tanks etc. or any where a high flow rate is required eg. house, rural or commercial applications.

Complete two 20″ x 4.5″ housings with 1″ Bsp ports with a Stainless steel mounting bracket & screws and a plastic housing sump spanner.

Larger filters can be used which have a bigger capacity and longer service life compared to standard size filter housings.

No Filters are supplied with this system. We have a range of filters for every situation. System takes 20″ x 4.5″ filters.

Dimensions are 698mm high with bracket x 410mm wide. Max pressure 620 kpa, recommended pressure 500kpa

Other options available are PLV 500Kpa pressure limiting valve with 3/4″ BSP Female inlet and outlets (with brass bush fitting)

Please note: A PLV valve is recommended on mains water pressure supplies where pressure may exceed 500kpa to protect the unit from excessive pressure build-up.

The 20″ Big Black filter housing has been designed to suit harsh Australian conditions. Features include:

• WaterMark Certification
  Has been tested and certified as meeting Australian plumbing standards
• Strong UV-resistant black sumps
  The black sumps are designed to be more tolerant to UV light. This makes them suitable for use outdoors where they might be exposed to the strong Australian sun.
• Stainless steel bracket
  Corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel bracket ideal for harsh environments.
• Large 1″ ports with Stainless Steel thread inserts
  Stainless steel reinforced ports to protect the filter heads from damage.
• Larger 20″ filters with high capacity
  Takes standard 20″ x 4.5″ cartridges. These large-sized filters have high capacities and can support higher flow rates. Using a standard non-proprietary size also means there are dozens of filters to choose from

Can be connected to 1″ or 3/4″ (with reducing bush) water lines.

The Triple Big Black is suitable for a wide range of commercial and domestic applications including:

If your system has plastic ports do not use pipe dope or other liquid thread sealers. Use only Teflon tape to seal threaded connections.

Operational Notes

• Pressure Limits
  If you suspect that your water pressure may exceed 80 PSI (550kpa) at any time, a 500 kPa (70 PSI) pressure limiting valve must be installed.
  PR20 3/4″ BSP female 500 kPa pressure limiting valves are available in the options.
• Port sealants
  If your system has plastic ports do not use pipe dope or other liquid thread sealers. Use only Teflon tape to seal threaded connections.
• Freight Costs
  If a shipping charge does not appear in your cart when you add this system, we may have to manually obtain a freight quote. This is due to the size of and weight of the system or the shipping destination.
