The 525CB1Silver is a 5″ x 2.5″ Carbon Block Water Filter. Designed to fit standard 5″ Water Filter Housings.
Coconut carbon block will reduce sediment, chlorine, bad taste & odours.
Silver impregnation makes the filter media resistant to bacterial growth. The 1 micron rating provides cyst reduction, which means it will stop cryptosporidium, cyclospora, giardia, and other protozoan cyst parasites.
Being silver impregnated and cyst rated makes this filter ideal for boats, caravans, and holiday homes — where stagnant water may be left sitting in the filter for a couple of weeks at a time, increasing the risk of bacterial growth. Also perfect for caravans and motor homes.
