High quality catalytic carbon block surrounded by a fine sediment reduction screen.
Catalytic carbon is a speciality carbon. It promotes beneficial chemical reactions, which target chloramines (ammonia + chlorine) which have become very common in municipal water supplies.
Suits Big Blue and Big White 10″ x 4.5″ filter housings. Can be used for whole of house inmstallations where the water is quite clean, or there is suitable sediment pre-filtration.
Also ideal for undersink installations on treated town water and commercial operating environments. flow rate is needed, residential or commercial. Replaces GT4-13CRC.
