This is a Twin 5″ x 2.5″ Under Sink Water Filter System ideal for for Boats, Caravans, RVs, 4WDs, Tiny Homes and other locations where space is limited. 

This unit is designed to work with a dedicated drinking water tap. It reduces a wide range of chemicals including sediment, chemicals, chlorine, and bad taste/odour from your water.

Multiple tap options are available, or you can select the no tap option if you already have a tap or have another installation option in mind (for example, using an inline shutoff tap to fill tanks as needed).

Two filter options are available, a 5 micron sediment and carbon block for faster flow rates or the 1 micron sediment and silver carbon for cyst protection (reduces cryptosporidium, cyclospora, giardia and protozoan cysts).

High quality Taiwanese housing which is rugged and ready for travel. 1/4″ female BSP ports on both sides.

Unit comes with fittings necessary to connect to 12mm high pressure tubing commonly found in caravans and RVs. Other fitting options are available.

Can be used on mains pressure or water pumps. Plumbed in or used as a portable filter you can use this system when you are traveling and when you are at home to make your own bottled water protecting you from Cysts.

If used on a mains water line, a pressure limiting valve should be used if pressure could exceeed 550 kpa.

Twin 5″ x 2.5″ Caravan & RV Water Filter System – Filtration Process

Stage 1: Sediment Filter

First stage is anm ultra-fine Sediment Filter. This filter will trap a wide ramge of particulate contaminants including sediment, sand, silt, dirt, rust, metal particles, slime, and mud.

It makes your water clearer and more enjoyable to consume. Also protects your carbon filter and water consuyming appliances from damage.

Either 1 micron or 5 micron depending on filter option selected.

Stage 2: Carbon Block Filter

Second stage is fine Carbon Block Filter which reduces:

• Chlorine and Chloramines
• Trihalomethanes
• Bad Taste and Odours
• Dirt, Rust, Algae & Sediment.
• Volatile organic compounds
• Petrochemicals
• Pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals

The 1 micron version will also reduce Cyst parasites including Giardia, Cryptosporidium and Cyclospora.

The ideal system for providing clean, safe and great tasting water where ever you are.

Note: Optimum flow rate < 2 litres per minute for maximum chemical reduction.

Filter Options

Option 1: 525PS1 and 525CB1Silver

Very fine 1 micron filters which trap more contaminants but may block faster. As they are below 1 micron, can trap cryptosporidium, giardia and protozoan cysts. Silver impregnantion of the carbon block reduces the risk of bacterial growth within the media.

Option 2: 525PS5 and 525CB5

Slightly less fine filters which can tolerate water that has higher levels of sediment. Ideal for travellers who typically use treated town water of reasonable quality.

Option 3: 525PS5 and 525GAC

This option uses a granular filter for stage 2 instead of a carbon block. Has even higher tolerance for sediment and is less likely to block prematurely.

Option 4: No Filters

No filters included. Choose this option if you have other filters in mind.
