Caware PF-5-B10 (1045PW5Nom) Pleated Washable Sediment Filter for 10″ x 4.5″ Housings Nominal 5 Micron
The 1045PW is a high performance pleated washable sediment filter cartridge engineered to suit all standard 10 inch x 4.5 inch Big Blue filter housings.
With a 5 Micron nominal rating it offers exceptional sediment reduction across a wide range of both residential and commercial water filtration applications.
Unlike the polyspun filter alternative the pleated design increases the effective filtration surface area which allows for higher dirt-holding capacity, less pressure drop and a greater service life.
The pleated design and construction allows for 4-5 washes throughout the filters life, giving operators more control over their sediment filtration.
Contructed using 100% polypropylene the 1045PW5Nom is free from binders, adhesives and surfactants making it chemically inert, food-safe and suitable for use in potable water systems.
