What is a Bag Water Filter?
Bag Filter Filter Systems are highly versatile units capable of filtering virtually any liquid. They work using the concept of mechanical filtration.
Water flows into the centre of the bag, then pushes its way through the bag material. Liquid penetrates through the material, with particulates being trapped within or on the materials surface.

Bag Water Filter Materials
Bag water filters come in a range of materials. Each material type has a unique set of characteristics which determine how the bag can be used. Common materials include:
Polyester Felt Bag Filters
Polyester felt bags are cost effective and high durable. Can tolerate a variety of chemicals which make them a popular choice for industrial applications. Micron ratings from 0.5 to 200 micron. Polypropylene Bag Filters
Polypropylene felt bags are the most common material. Available in micron ratings from 1 micron through to 200 micron.
Nylon Monofilament Bag Filters
Nylon monofilament bags are durable re-usable bags ideal for filtering out larger particles. Available in micron ratings from 50 through to 800 micron. Available in several sizes.
Filter Bag Material Temperature Ratings
Polypropylene: 95°C
Polyester: 150°C
Nylon: 160°C
