The K-PH-GAC is a inline Alkalizing double action filter that has GAC carbon for taste and odour.
The K-PH-GAC Inline Cartridge has been specially designed as a middle benchmark between straight RO water & High Alkaline Water.
The specific blend of Coconut Carbon & Mineral in this cartridge produces a steady Neutral to Weak Alkaline pH (Generally 7.0 – 8.5) by dissolving small traces of minerals back into mineral depleted water (reverse osmosis water).
To achieve neutral/weak alkaline pH levels, this cartridge is predominantly made from calcium with trace amounts of magnesium & potassium to provide a slow and steady pH adjustment that is suited to the low flow rates of reverse osmosis.
These filters are easy to install before any existing water filter system or straight after a reverse osmosis system before the polishing filter. Water passes through layers of media to add minerals while Alkalizing the water to a higher pH.
