Standard 10″ sediment and KDF/Carbon filter set.
A poly-spun sediment filter is used in the first stage in the twin filter system to protect the second stage carbon filter. The 1025PS poly-spun sediment filter with reduce dirt sediment, algae and rust.
Available in 1 micron or 5 micron in the filter options. One micron will give you finer filtration but may need to be replaced more often depending on water quality.
The second stage is the AP1025KDF/GAC Water Filter 10″ x 2.5″ 200g of KDF55 media and GAC Silver Impregnated Coconut Carbon. OCB933RO T33 KDF/200.
KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) media when combined with carbon is known to:
- Kill algae and fungi, control bacteria growth
- Reduce chlorine, pesticides, organic matter, rust, hydrogen sulphide, iron, lead, nickel, chromium, cadmium, calcium, mercury and other organic compounds.
- Improve taste/odour of your water
Silver impregnated carbon will inhibit bacteria growth and reduce bad taste and odours caused by chlorine and it’s by products. Rated at 5 microns.
Ideal for situations where you need a higher flow rate or have low water pressure. or on tank water.
These filters will fit all standard 10″ filter housings.
Can replace the PX051 sediment and GC051 carbon filters in a TS100 system.
