The Omnipure Q5629 is a 12″ x 2.5″ catalytic carbon block filter designed to suit the Q-series filter head. Catalytic carbon is a surface-modified activated carbon which excels at reducing complex chemicals like chloramines and hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg gas smell) from water.
