VOC-GAC Virgin Activated Coconut Shell Carbon – Charcoal is a highly activated carbon manufactured under high temperature steam activation from selected grade of coconut shell that attracts organic contaminants by absorbing and locking the VOCs in the carbon pores.
The activated carbon has a high absorption capacity in its micro-pore structure, allowing it to hold a wide range of contaminants.
The structure development of the VOC carbon gives it a significant advantage when absorbing lower molecular weighted organic molecules.
The carbon granule mesh size is 4 / 8 which is 2.36mm to 4.75mm. This makes the carbon idea for air filtration and duct filters. The 4 / 8 mesh has replaced the 2mm and 3mm coconut carbon pellets. Ideal for small screen air filtration and excellent for refilling carbon respirators to remove vapors and odours etc..
