Beer & Wine SPN Nominal Rated, Type SPP Pleated Filters 30 & 10 Microns.
If you require a different micron you can use the SPA absolute filters by multiply your nominal micron rating x 2-3 times.
(example you could use a SPA 3 micron absolute to replace a SPN 1 micron nominal or say a SPA 10 micron absolute to replace SPN 5 micron nominal ) See our SPA listing
222 Double o-rings on top of filters. Used in Wine & Beer production will only fit matching 222 filter housings
These nominal filters are used as a first stage to reduce heavy sediment to protect Absolute rated filters from clogging up too quickly.
Used for filtering heavy beers and stouts or any brew where you do not need to remove haze.
Sanitization and Sterilization in
Hot water at 175°F (80°C) at 5 psid for 30 minutes
In-line steam at 257°F (125°C) @ 1 psid (0.07 bar) for 30 minutes
Autoclavable at 257°F (125°C) for 30 minutes
Maximum Operating Temperature 176°F ( 80°C)
Minimum temp ( 4°C)
Dimensions are 272mm overall x 70mm across
