Triple Whole House Water Filter System for Tank Water. Comes with three 20″ x 4.5″ Big Blue Water Filter Housings on a stainless steel bracket and washable/refillable filters.
This unit is ideal for larger households which require effective contaminant reduction at faster flow rates. Using a triple whole house system also provides you with more flexibility in terms of filter selection.
This unit comes with a 304 Stainless Steel bracket and high-quality Taiwanese-made Big Blue filter housings. The housings have 1″ BSP brass ports and a plastic housing sump spanner.
Takes standard 20″ x 4.5″ filters, which are a generic, industry-standard size. You will never have any issues sourcing replacement filters and there is a massive selection of compatible filter types available.

Option 1: Improved Sediment Reduction
High sediment water is often discoloured or has easily visible sediment particles. This type of water may require two sediment filters to reduce the high levels of particulate matter it contains.
This option includes two sediment filters and a single silver impregnated carbon filter. It uses the most popular combination, a 20 micron sediment filter, followed by a 5 micron sediment filter which provides a reasonable balance of performance and filter lifespan.
Stage 1: 2045PW20-CWF Pleated Washable 20 micron (Reusable)
The first stage of the system is a 20 micron sediment filter which will reduce sediment, rust, algae, sand, silt, fine metal particles etc.
Stage 2: 2045PW5-CWF Pleated Washable 5 micron (Reusable)
Stage two is a finer 5 micron sediment filter to capture smaller sediment particles
Stage 3: 2045SilverGAC Refillable Filter with Silver Impregnated Granular Activated Carbon (Reusable)
A refillable filter cartridge which contains silver carbon. Improves water taste/odour and reduces a range of chemicals including pesticides/herbicides from overspray.

Option 2: Improved Chemical Reduction
This option is ideal for properties with cleaner water but a concern about bad taste/odour or potential chemical exposure.

It also allows for high level chemical reduction at faster flow rates and provides more capacity for chemical reduction.
Housing Upgrade Options
This system comes with Taiwanese made Big Blue Housings, which are the most commonly used option for whole house filters. They are rugged and perform well in Australia’s harsh environment.
However, you can also upgrade your housings to further improve performance. The following options are available:
- Big Black Housings
- Improved resistance against UV light, which can increase housing lifespan in certain encvironments
- Fully watermarked
- Pentek Pentair Big White Housings
- Excellent UV resistance
- Additional sump rib for strength
- Square cut o-ring which provides an excellent seal and improved o-ring lifespan
There are also stainless steel covers available to provide protection from damaging UV light (useful for installations in full sun).

If your water pressure may exceed 80 PSI at any time, a 500 kPa (70 PSI) pressure limiting valve must be installed to protect the housing. Failure to install a PLV on high pressure water can void warranty.

If your system has plastic ports do not use pipe dope or other liquid thread sealers. Use only Teflon tape to seal threaded connections.
