Filter Options

First stage is a premium 1 micron ploy spun sediment filter 1025PS1. This filter reduces particulate contaminants including rust, sand, silt, algae, solid. metal particles, insects, and slime.  

Options for the Second stage include:

Option 1: GTS1-10 Silver impregnated Bacteriostatic (USA-made)

USA-made silver impregnated silver carbon filter. Uses fibredyne carbon, which supports faster flow rates and is more tolerant to sediment accumulation. 

Reduces sediment, bad taste/odour, and chemicals from overspray (pesticides/herbicides). Reduces the risk of live Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Silver impregnation inhibits the re-growth of bacteria in the filter.

Option 2: Doulton UltraCarb (UK-made) 

For maximum protection on town or tank water from bacteria. Doulton Ultra Carb ceramic filter 0.9 micron.

In addition to reducing sediment, chemicals, and Giardia/Cryptosporidium, it also captures common forms of bacteria including E.Coli, Shigella, Salmonella, Klebsiella & Cholera to 99.9%.

Also contains resin for heavy metal reduction, reducing up to 98.3% of lead content at 2 LPM.

Please note: The fineness of the Ultracarb means it will reduce your flow rate to below 3 litres per minute (approximately). As the ceramic outer shell becomes coated with sediment it will slow further. At that point it can be removed and cleaned using a scouring pad.  

What’s In The Box?

Complete with easy to read installation instructions and all fittings needed to install.

• Twin USA-made QMP housings on a Steel mounting bracket with quick connect push in tube fittings.
• Poly spun 1 micron sediment pre-filter and the second stage cartridge of your choice.
• Installation kit contains cold water supply connection for braided hoses.
• Shut off tap for servicing. 3 meters of 1/4″ high pressure tubing which will allow you to mount the system away from the sink cupboard.

System can be standing up or laid down if height is a problem. Thread tape and housing spanner are also supplied.

In the tap options you can choose between the Standard filter taps that only need a 12mm hole through the sink or bench top. Simply click on the taps option to view all the available taps.

We have a No Tap option also, which means you will need to supply your own filter tap or 3 way tap to suit 1/4″ tubing if preferred.

It’s recommended to replace filters every 2000 litres or 6 to 12 months depending on your water quality.

Dimensions of housing system including bracket are 365mm high by 255mm wide without fittings.
